Born in the mountain wilds of Western
Massachusetts, Jackson’s first steps came amid the new growth forest of
the Berkshires and the steps around Amherst. He then went a-wandering and
now lays his head down among the beach dunes of Cape Cod. A budding athlete
– just watch him wield that bat – he’s a naturalist prodigy, particularly
taken with frogs. He secretly dreams of spreading the joys of frogs
across the nation much as Johnny Appleseed once sowed his fruit. Of course,
Jackson needs to remain in close proximity to Boston given his yearning for
the Red Sox and undying faith that the Celtics will one day rise from the
ashes to reclaim the throne they once owned. An observer and a creator,
Jackson has recently taken up video photography to capture his views of the
world.
