Huntington 4th Graders Beat Rockville Centre 9-3

The Huntington 4th Graders traveled to Rockville Centre for their first away game and defeated their hosts 9-3. The Huntington Team played their best offensive game of the year, scoring on break-aways and set plays, putting unrelenting pressure on the Rockville Centre defense. Scores came from many sources, including Peter Kingston, John McGrath, Duncan Murchison, Nicky Smith and Jack Wallace. Jack O'Neil and Willie Coffey contributed terrific midfield plays and each compiled three assists. Teddy Blyskal, Patrick O'Brien, Adam Pomper and Dylan Riviezzo all helped the offensive to its big scoring day.

At the defensive end of the field, goalie Bobby O'Brien repeatedly blocked Rockville Centre shots. Bobby watched his defenders play their most physical game of the season led by Jamie Cronin's  fierce body checks and the swarming play of Louie Puca, Jimmy Roselle, Bryan Griffith and Kenny Stropoli.
