Huntington 4th Graders Lose to Seaford (B) 6 - 2

The Huntington 4th Graders suffered their first defeat of the season, falling to host Seaford (B) 6 - 2. Seaford took at 3 - 1 lead in the first half, though the Huntington Boys fought back late in the second quarter behind the offense of Peter Kingston, Adam Pomper, John McGrath, Nick Saputo, Teddy Blyskal, Nicky Smith, Jack O'Neil and Willie Coffey. Huntington trailed 3-2 at half time and seemed poised to grab the lead.

Unfortunately, Seaford opened the second half with two quick scores and added one late for the final four goal margin. Seaford constantly pressured the Huntington defense, which played well to limit their opponents to only six goals. Bobby O'Brien had a terrific game in goal and his front line defenders Louis Puca, Jimmy Roselle and Jamie Cronin did their best to stop the Seaford attack men.
